The objective of this course is to improve the participant's ability to communicate over the telephone or when face-to-face communication is not possible. This training module provides techniques for speaking on the phone with confidence, as well as knowledge about how to respond according to the type of person you are speaking with. This 2-day, 16-hour course emphasizes essential vocabulary and phrases in order to improve telephone communication skills for both conducting business in English and everyday life.

Participants will learn words and phrases, which are used most frequently during phone calls. By acquiring the ability and know-how needed to speak and respond over the phone, you will not only be able to hold effective conversations on conventional telephones, but videophones as well. These skills will help expand and strengthen business connections and lead to cultivating new relationships with customers and colleagues. We hope you will put the acquired telephone know-how and phrases you learn in this course to good use in your future business dealings.

The objective of this course is to teach participants how to correspond efficiently and effectively using e-mail, an important business communication tool. In our 2-day or 16-hour course, participants will acquire many useful phrases and technical terms, and learn how to make quick responses when communicating with others via e-mail.

Participants will learn key words and phrases that are used most frequently when writing emails. Mastering these key words and phrases, as well as e-mail specific writing techniques, will enable the participant to make themselves understood effectively and with language appropriate to the situation. These skills will help expand and strengthen business connections and lead to cultivating new relationships with customers and colleagues. We hope you will put the acquired telephone know-how and phrases you learn in this course to good use in your future business dealings.

The objective of this course is to learn communication skills and techniques required for chairing and participating in a meeting in English. In this 3-day / 24-hour course, participants will take part in communicative role-plays, both as participants and as a chairperson. Participants will be able to grasp the overall flow of a meeting during the final activity, which consists of holding an actual meeting. This course helps the participants acquire skills that can be used in any type of meeting, whether it be held in Japan or overseas. The course covers topic based vocabulary and phrases that are frequently used in business meetings and by advises the participants to listen actively in order to facilitate good communication. Being able to use proper words and phrases essential in business deepens understanding and, can help your relationships develop further.

The number of companies, both in Japan and abroad, which use English as their main language of business is growing as globalization progresses. How you get and hold the attention of others, persuade them, and then build amicable relationships is extremely important. This 3-day / 24-hour English Presentation course will help participants acquire the skills they need to give a good presentation, even in front of a difficult audience. The content of the presentation course has received high praise for its quality from many previous participants. After reviewing the basics (planning, speaking speed, volume of voice, voice control etc.), participants will be introduced to a whole range of whole range of presentation specific words and phrases.

It is important to remember that not only the content but also the visual impression you give to the audience can have a large effect on the impact of your presentation. In order to communicate the content of your presentation effectively, you need to make good use of eye contact and body language, which is also covered in this course.

Effective presenters get their ideas across to key people and decision makers. In order to do so, the presenter must give guidance. This course guides participants on how to give persuasive presentations and contains essential points doing so, and therefore the skills introduced will also be useful for giving presentations in Japanese.

The objective of this 3 day / 24 hour English for Negotiating course is to show participants clear communication skills and techniques which enable participants to effectively participate and facilitate business negotiations in English. In addition participants will learn key gambits and negotiation phrases as well as the 7 Key Elements of a negotiation.

Finding your Best Alternatives to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA), Knowing the Interests of you and the other side, Creating Options, Understanding the fair Standards to base your agreement on, Understanding the importance of Relationships, Using clear Communication techniques and active listening, as well as Knowing when to and when not to Commit to a final agreement are all important elements covered in this course. Our skilled instructors will assist participants in preparing for a negotiation, making an opening statement, closing a negotiation, and knowing what to do and say in negotiation conflicts. Participants will partake in various negotiation simulations to develop and strengthen their skills.
