The Position

GDI Communication’s Global Staffing (GS) Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Global Staffing (GS) division. The primary duties include implementing operational procedures (SOPs) for recruiting and dispatch-related activity while assisting, directly and indirectly, all related GS employees (recruiters (internal/external), salespeople, and administration, to meet and exceed set quarterly rocks, goals and expectations while working towards cost reduction and improving profits. While we currently focus mainly on recruiting IT engineers, we will also be recruiting in new fields in the future, taking into account market needs and our own areas of expertise.

What You Bring

  • University degree
  • 3+ years experience working in recruiting and/or human resources
  • IT industry experience/knowledge is welcome!
  • English communication required (Business English intermediate or above)
  • Native level of Japanese (written/spoken)
  • Experience working for a foreign company is beneficial

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Global Staffing (GS) division sales targeting (with Sales Managers/GM)
  • GS division sales/activity reporting (monthly/quarterly) EOS* meetings
  • Management and execution of EOS* meetings for the GS division
  • Responsible for implementing improvements in the GS department/EOS meetings.
  • Able to perform all processes of recruiting (search, identification of candidates, database entry, interviewing, and client proposals/introductions).
  • Management of the internal database and the use of external 3rd party tools/services
  • GS division staff recruiting planning/execution
  • GS division staff annual performance evaluations
  • GS division media budget management and analysis of performance
  • Confirmation of contracts with Client contract execution and management (understanding of rules and regulations for temporary staffing and fee-based placement business model)
  • GS division reporting/participation in full company EOS* leadership meetings (monthly)
  • Digital Marketing (DM) division support/activity to increase inbound candidates
  • Preparation of monthly/periodic internal reports

Salary and benefits

  • Base – 5 million JPY/year
  • Recruitment Commission
  • Annual Success Bonus
  • Manager allowance available

Model income (2nd year with the company): 8 million JPY
*Calculation based on company sales and profit margin.

Practicals

  • Reporting: You will report to the General Manager, COO,CEO
  • Location: Nagoya, Japan – On-site at GDI Office
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • EOS* this is a tool for the company management system
